Quiedan Company has developed a repair stub and installation tool combination to make spot repairs of damaged stakes fast, affordable and strong. Repair Stubs and Connectors Quiedan manufactures short length profiles for repair of all types of rollformed stakes and studded tee posts. The stubs can be fastened using bag ties or the special fasteners that are seen in these photos. Special Installation Tool Quiedan engineers have developed useful pounders to install the repair stubs. Traditional stake installation tools will not drive a stub close enough to the damaged stake to provide for attachment using bolts or wire ties. The pounders shown on this page allow the stub to be driven very close to the damaged stake. Using repair stubs saves the expense of cutting tension clips, removing and replacing an entire stake. Most repair stubs can be installed without cutting any of the tension clips holding existing wire. |
