The simple solution to training "T," Chip budded Grafted or Terminal buds. Designed specifically for the nursery industry to improve quality and save time. Just push the Bud Trainer onto the root stock or below the new bud to be trained and it is gently held in fixed position parallel to the stem. The Bud Trainer snaps securely onto the stem and expands with the stem as long as it is needed to train the new bud. The proper compounding of the material used insures a secure, but non-girdling clamp that, left alone, is eventually pushed from the plant. A foot at the bottom of the clip keeps the bud from pushing the top of the Bud Trainer away from the stem as the young bud is developing. The Bud Trainer can be reused the following season if it is removed after the training period. The Bud Trainer Clip is a product of Agriclip (pat. pending). |

The Nursery Clip will open as the plant grows, preventing girdling. It will hold a vine or trunk up to 3/4" in diameter to the rod making this the perfect tying material for the nursery industry. Easy to use Nursery Clip applies much faster than green tie tape. With Nursery Clip there's no tying to do - just push Nursery Clip onto the rod then push the cane or young trunk into the Nursery Clip. If the plant is already next to the support rod, the Nursery Clip can be applied in a single action of pushing it onto both rod and trunk at the same time. Made of UV stabilized material, Nursery Clip is reusable for many years. When you remove a trunk or cane, you can leave the Nursery Clip on the rod and reuse it on the next plant. Material costs will be higher than green tie tape, however you will save money on the first applica-tion and you will realize significant savings in second use and even more thereafter. |

The Nursery Trainer Clip is ideal for training young vines and branches to trellis slats- particularly in a nursery situation where the trellis and clips are pre-applied. Because this clip is designed to expand as the plant grows, it will not girdle or inhibit the growth of the plant and will securely hold a branch or vine up to 1/2 inch in diameter before expanding. Space for two vines lets the Nursery Trainer Clip give you double service if needed.The Nursery Trainer Clip attaches to the trellis by sliding its expandable slot over a trellis slat and is held in tension by the Clip's arm. The Nursery Trainer Clip works well on trellis slats of 1" to 1.5" by up to .50". Both vine arms and slat arm regain their shape when no longer in use and are com-pletely reusable and re-positionable . The Nursery Trainer Clip is made from UV stabilized material that will last for many years. As we in the nursery industry are aware, the appearance of our product does make a difference. The Nursery Trainer Clips do help to present a more attractive product than a plant tied with green tie tape or Twistems and the clip will allow you to effectively train the plant with fewer ties. Because the Nursery Trainer Clip is both reusable and much easier to use than currently used alternatives such as Twistems, it is a much more cost effective way for the nurseryman to train young vines and branches. |
