Extensions

Quiedan has developed several unique systems to extend the length of an existing trellis. The Top Notch Utility Post (right), with special extension strap is the strongest and least expensive way to add extra length and movable wire notches to a Studded Tee Post. The special strap and bolt assembly virtually eliminate any rotation in the extension.

Quiedan engineers developed this special extension plate that grabs the edge of the stake to prevent extension movement. On most installations, a 6" overlap of extension onto the existing stake is all that is required.

V-Line Extension

The V-Line stake makes an excellent extension for both studded tee posts and standard rollformed grapestakes. The extension can be attached using a labor saving headed bolt that requires only one nut. The extension can also be attached with a movable wire crossarm and bolt. Extensions can be manufactured for all types of trellis stakes, including wood.

A headed bolt attachment only requires one hex nut to install, saving valuable installation labor.
