Steel Anchorpost: In 1989, Quiedan Company introduced the first steel anchorpost system that met the needs of growers. As many twelve foot wide rows were converted to six feet, the large diameter treated wood endposts that were a staple in the industry became a liabilty. Machinery could no longer fit down the rows and the wood posts were very expensive to install. severely rocky areas, wood posts were not even an option. The steel anchorpost shaved 6" off of a row using 5-6" diameter wood posts, could be installed rapidly, and in rocky soil. The anchorpost could have any number of spades welded to it, or could be installed without a spade and tied back to an anchor. The post could be installed at almost 90 degrees to pick up an additional vine space. Many machine harvesters could harvest over this post saving an expensive hand picking operation to harvest the grapes missed as harvesters opened up to miss the wood endost. The steel anchorpost is made to your length specification. Standard spade sizes are 8x15 and 9x20 (other spade sizes can be made and multiple spades are available). Holes can be drilled if required.

U-Channel Endpost: In an effort to offer a product with even more punching options, Quiedan introduced the U-Channel endpost. The U-Channel post can be punched to accept wirevises, fasteners or for wire tie offs. The U-Channel post is available in 4ga and 5/16" thickness. Lengths are to your specification. Standard spade sizes are 8x15 and 9x20. The U-Channel post can be painted, and is an integral part of a box brace system developed by Quiedan for soft soil/long row length conditions.

Steel V Endpost: In some cases, a lighter weight profile is more than adequate for use as an endpost. Quiedan developed this 8ga post for shorter row, lighter crop and wind load applications. The V-Post is 2 7/8" wide. Standard spade sizes are 8x15 and 9x20. Punching is available.
