By using an innovative adapter plate with a large selection of fastener types, the Stake Grabber Crossarm can be attached to virtually any steel or wood stake being used for trellising today. The Stake Grabber allows for a greater versatility of angles and configurations than any other crossarm on the market. This crossarm's strength and rigidity, even when used in off center mountings, is due to its unique rolled profile. It uses the same amount of steel as a standard crossarm but by rolling the edges, its strength is greatly increased. The rolled edges facilitate fastening it to the stake and a uniquely secure angled wire slot. The new universal wire notch controls the direction of tension. The rolled edge of the Stake Grabber crossarm allows for an exceptionally secure and easy to use wire slot. The wire slots are cut into the top of the crossarm at a diagonal for easy insertion and release of movable wires. The universal notch allows for both inward and outward tension. As many as four slots can be cut into the crossarm. The Stakegrabber crossarm is suitable for both vineyard and orchard trellises. The Stake Grabber is delivered with a special connecting plate that has an anti-rotation slot that rigidly holds the edge of the grapestake and grips tightly around the crossarm to make a connection that eliminates rotation. Quiedan manufactures a line of miniature crossarm Pinch Clips for use in vertical trellis systems. |

| On the right is a picture of a modified GDC system that was manufactured with Stake Grabber crossarms. This was a retrofit project where Quiedan welded three crossarms and a short section of Q Post profile together to make a one bolt, labor saving installation. This is one example of the custom manufacturing that Quiedan provides.
